What happens next

  1. Send a short note

Your business name, city and what you need.

  2. Get a reply

Ali or a senior strategist answers, usually the next business day.

  3. Plan the next step

If it fits, you get a clear proposal. If not, honest advice.

Three ways to reach us

Use whichever suits your day; they all reach the same person.

  • Call (604) 632-4959. Best if you'd like to talk it through now. If the call goes to voicemail, say who you are, which company and when you're free, and Ali will ring back.
  • Text (604) 632-4959. Best between meetings or from a job site. A couple of lines is enough to start.
  • Email Ali@Sedighi.ca. Best if you'd like to share numbers or documents, such as a recent marketing report or an org chart.

Ontario runs three hours ahead of Vancouver, so those hours cover noon to 9 p.m. Eastern for you. That makes late-afternoon and early-evening conversations easy for most Ontario owners.

What to include in your first message

Five short answers let us suggest a sensible starting point in the first reply.

  1. Your company name and website.
  2. Roughly how many staff you have.
  3. Which Ontario regions you serve, for example Toronto, Peel and Halton or Ottawa.
  4. Your approximate monthly marketing spend, if any.
  5. The one thing you'd hand over tomorrow if someone else owned it.

A template you can copy into a text or email:

Hi Ali, I run [Business name] in [City], with about [number] staff. We serve [regions]. Our main problem is [one or two sentences]. Monthly marketing spend is roughly [$ amount]. You can reach me [day and time].

You don't need to have the numbers exactly right. Rough figures are fine for a first conversation.

What happens next

Three steps, and you can stop after any of them.

  1. We reply, usually within one business day, to book a 30-minute conversation at a time that suits you.
  2. We talk. You describe the business and the bottleneck; we ask about numbers, team and regions. At the end we suggest one of four starting points: a fractional CMO, a fractional COO, an operating review or a scorecard project, or nothing at all if we don't think we can help.
  3. You get it in writing. If you'd like to go ahead, we send a short scope: responsibilities, hours, outputs, price and start date. Nothing begins until you agree.

Before you get in touch

A few honest notes so the first conversation is useful.

  • We are business and marketing consultants. We don't give HR, legal, accounting, tax or financing advice, though we'll tell you when you need one of those professionals.
  • We don't promise specific results. We do promise a written baseline, agreed targets and plain reporting.
  • Ontario.Management is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group, a Canadian group headquartered in Vancouver, BC. Ali works with Ontario companies on your time zone, in person or by video call as well as phone, text and email.

Choosing the right channel for what you want to say

Match the channel to how much you want to share. A text works well for a quick first contact: who you are, what the company does and a time to talk. An email is better when you want to attach something, such as last quarter's marketing invoices, a rough org chart or the report your agency sends you each month. A call is better when the situation is complicated or sensitive, for example when the owner is planning to step back and the team doesn't know yet.

Whatever you send, keep confidential staff details out of the first message. Names and pay of individual employees aren't needed to understand the management problem, and we'd rather not receive them before there's a reason to.

Questions about working with us

Most owners ask about speed, commitment and who they'll deal with. The short answers: we usually reply within one business day; there's no lock-in; and you deal with Ali Sedighi from the first message onward. The questions above add a little more detail on hours, preparation and confidentiality.

Frequently asked questions

Will I speak to a salesperson first?

No. Calls, texts and emails come to Ali Sedighi, the person who would work in the seat. There's no sales team in between.

Can I call outside Pacific business hours?

You can text or email at any time. Calls are answered Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific; for an Ontario owner, that window opens at noon and closes at 9 p.m. Eastern.

What should I prepare before the first call?

Nothing formal. It helps to know your rough staff count, the regions you serve, your approximate monthly marketing spend and the one problem that takes most of your time.

Is the first conversation confidential?

Yes. We use what you tell us only to understand your situation and suggest a next step. We don't share it, and we only send follow-up messages to people who have contacted us first.
